Easy To Use
Add Gypsum Lite in layers for each load as the waste accumulates. Gypsum Lite helps the waste digest. Gypsum Lite accelerates the breakdown of droppings and applied manure in fields and pastures. Use 100-300 LB per ton of stockpile manure. To control odors in barns sprinkle at a 1:4 ratio. Improve Animal Health: Excessive Odors and Gases cause disease, prohibiting growth in the early stages of development. Locking up ammonia inhibits the infestation of pathogens. Independent Lab Tests
Poultry and Swine manures are ideal fertilizers, however, the high pH levels create excessive ammonia and limit their use. We chose to study these manures in order to resolve the ammonia and nitrate leaching problem and create a win win situation for both the grower and the neighborhood environment. Results from these studies indicate Gypsum Lite absorbs moisture and decreases smells. The pH level dropped with the absorption of ammonia. The fixed plant ammonia availability increased 225% and was proportional to the concentration of Gypsum Lite. The nitrogen level rose 82%. There was a substantial increase in the available calcium concentration from 12 ppm to 311ppm and an increase of magnesium concentration of 300%. The calcium in Gypsum Lite forms calcium hydroxyphosphate with phosphorous in manure.
